The Player Piano
Boone’s own rolls, on his own keys
At the center of every tour is the historic player piano, which brings Boone’s own piano rolls back to life for visitors. Hearing his music played on the keys — in the home where he lived — is an unforgettable experience.

The Master's Instrument
Blind Boone's 1889 Chickering Parlor Grand Piano
In July 1889, Chickering and Sons of Boston shipped this parlor grand piano to Leavenworth, Kansas in care of the J.W. Blind Boone Company. The piano traveled the country with Boone as he toured up to ten months each year. The generous support of the Boone Electric Community Trust and the Columbia Office of Cultural Affairs allowed the Boone Foundation to purchased this magnificent piano in 2021.
